Clean is not the inspection
Quebec lease ends come with an inspection. Housekeeping is not that inspection. A cleaner can empty-home clean kitchens, bathrooms, floors, inside cabinets and appliances that are actually empty. A cleaner cannot promise the landlord will return a deposit.
Do this before the visit: remove belongings, empty the fridge, take trash out, confirm who authorizes entry. If the unit is still half packed, book later.
Useful rooms: stove exterior and interior if requested, refrigerator interior if empty, bathroom scale and film, floors including edges you can actually reach, interior glass. Not useful: repainting nail holes, hauling a broken sofa, arguing with the syndicate.
Authorization matters. Tenants book for their unit. Landlords say so when they book. We do not force a lock.
